Choose the term for the next renewal

Applies at the renewal boundary — the running term is never shortened, so a customer on 3 months who selects 1 keeps the 3 months they paid for and renews monthly from there. Cleared automatically once the renewal happens, because the new cycle's own length then carries the term forward. Send null to drop a queued change.
